Impossible To Possible
Discovering new futures in cerebral palsy research and therapy
This mini-summit is led by Dr. Reggie Edgerton and Dr. Susan Hastings as a fundraiser for their research into Spinal Neuromodulation at The Broccoli Impossible-To-Possible Lab
Dr. Reggie Edgerton, a renowned neuroscientist, has spent his career studying spinal circuitry, neuromodulation, and recovery after spinal cord injury. His research forms the foundation for spinal neuromodulation as a therapy for cerebral palsy, exploring how targeted spinal cord stimulation may drive changes in both movement and overall brain connectivity.
Dr. Susan Hastings is a highly experienced pediatric physical therapist who has translated neuromodulation science into real-world results for children and adults with CP. Her clinical insight, patient-centered approach, and collaboration with Dr. Edgerton have made neuromodulation more effective, targeting the unique needs of children born with neurmotor disabilities.
Their journey has been one of curiosity, humility, and fierce dedication to helping children achieve the impossible. What began as an unexpected clinical observation has turned into an ethical exploration of one of the most promising interventions we’ve seen for children with Cerebral Palsy and other developmental disabilities this century — and we’re inviting you to be part of the journey.
Don’t miss out on the science, strategy, and stories reshaping Cerebral Palsy care.
